CHOLLA
ART
CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY
The artist is a horse. His
name is Cholla. Wait a minute, isn't that just about
the worst thing you can come across in the desert?
Yes, it is. The Cholla cactus, that's what the
cowboys named him. You couldn't tie him, you
couldn't pickup his feet, you could barely touch his head,
he loved to buck and rear, and now he delicately holds the
artist brush in his mouth and paints beautiful water color
originals at his easel. A very intelligent equine
animal, also aware of his strength at 15.2 hands and 1,200
pounds. Cholla resembles the Disney character "Spirit".
A volatile time bomb ready to go into instinctive,
survival mode at any given time. Proud cut and
fearless, born in Minden, Nevada in 1986 from an American
Quarter Horse mare and a Mustang stallion. This
artist loves to paint and for a change, this horse is on
the other side of the brush, bringing beautiful water
color art into existence.
"The certificate of
authenticity is embossed with an impression made from a
silhouette photograph of Cholla's profile. The cross image
in the embosser is the result of a telephone pole in the
photo image. Each original piece of Cholla Art is
embossed, as are all of the certificates of authenticity." |
